Rules for the design of an actor's   Filmography

1.  ABOUT PHOTOS:

1. Photo for placement in the general list of actors. Face with neutral or no emotion

Bottom edge of the photo: just above the waist.

Top edge of the photo: away from the head.

The actor should be centered in the frame.

The actor's shoulders must be completely in the frame.

If you have long hair, it should NOT cover your face.

Background: solid (one color), neutral (not motley).

Cosmetics: no or minimum.

Clothing: neutral, not motley. For example: shirt, sweater, t-shirt, dress, etc.

Without strangers, buildings and objects in the frame. Including: glasses, hats, hoods, scarves, cigarettes, lighters, bottles, glasses, headphones, telephone and the like.

Without any jewelry (bijouterie, etc.)

Do not keep your hands near your face!

2. Portrait photo. Face without emotion

Bottom edge of the photo: just above the waist.

Top edge of the photo: away from the head.

The actor should be centered in the frame.

If you have long hair, it should NOT cover your face.

Background: solid (one color), neutral (not motley).

4. Full-length photography

5. Diverse photos

At least two (2) photo from different foreshortening: right, left, etc. It is advisable to take 4 - 5 such pictures.

Cosmetics: no or minimum.

Clothes: shirt, sweater, t-shirt, dress, etc., !! no logos !!

6. Photos of different emotions ("emotional map")

There must be at least 6 (six) such photos.

Top edge of the photo: away from the head.

The actor should be centered in the frame.

If you have long hair, it should NOT cover your face.

Background: solid (one color), neutral (not motley).

Cosmetics: no or minimum.

Clothing: neutral, not motley. For example: shirt, sweater, t-shirt, dress, etc.

Without strangers, buildings and objects in the frame. Including: glasses, hats, hoods, scarves, cigarettes, lighters, bottles, glasses, headphones, telephone and the like.

Without any jewelry (bijouterie, etc.)

All of the above is the minimum required set of photographs. Use your creativity to complement it with interesting compositions!

All photos must be fresh or fresh. The main thing is that you look at them the same as now, at the present time.

If you have photos showing your acting work, be sure to add them to the kit and send them to us.

Minimum number of photos: 10 (ten), which we post on the site.

It is advisable to receive from you at least fifteen (15) photographs so that we can choose the most appropriate from them to post on your profile.

Selfie photos are not accepted!


2.  ABOUT  VIDEOS:

Types of videos:

1.   Video business card (Video Presentation):

A simple acquaintance with the actor, a short story about yourself.

2.   Video interview:

Find an assistant who will ask questions and you will answer them. Be natural, express emotions, show your image as it is in life.

3.   Showreel:

A selection of your completed acting work (Cinema, Theater, Advertising)

4.   Demo reel:

Self-demonstration of acting skills. You create a storyline and act out a scene in front of the camera. You can attract an assistant who will play along for you.

Here are some basic simple rules:

1.   Background: solid (one color), neutral (not motley).

2.  The actor should be centered in the frame.

3.  Stay at a reasonable distance from the camera so as not to be too far or too close. In the absence of "zoom", this is approximately 1 - 1.5 meters.

4.  The orientation of the frame must be horizontal only !!

5.  The top of the frame should not touch or "cut" your head.

6.  The bottom of the frame should be no higher than the chest. It is desirable - to the waist.

7.  Try to get rid of shadows when exposing light.

8.  The sound should be loud enough, "clear". Take care that there is no echo.

9.  Pay close attention to the image sharpness quality.

It doesn't matter what kind of video camera you have. Today you can shoot a high-quality video on a smartphone.


3. RULES FOR CREATING A FILE WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTOR'S WORK EXPERIENCE FOR ADDING TO THE DATABASE

1.   Write your filmography in your native language!

2.   You should write: year, Project name, film director, your role.

3.   Fold the list of projects by year vertically.
